You can upgrade to macOS Mojave from OS X Mountain Lion or later on any of the following Mac models. Your Mac also needs at least 2GB of memory and 12.5GB of available storage space, or up to 18.5GB of storage space when upgrading from OS X Yosemite or earlier.

After downloading, the installer opens automatically.
Open an image editing application, such as Image Capture. Select your Epson product from the DEVICES or SHARED list in the Finder, if necessary. (You may need to hover over the DEVICES or SHARED list, click Show, and select your product.); If you see the Show Details button, click it. If you are scanning an item on the scanner glass, your product begins a preview scan. Image Capture application is preinstalled on your Macintosh computer and ready to use. To use it with an Epson scanner, do the following: Make sure the scanner or All-In-One is powered on and connected directly to your Mac via the USB cable. Open Finder, type in Image Capture and click on it. Note: On a Mac, in addition to scanning with Image Capture, you can download and install Epson Scan scanning software. Epson Scan provides additional image adjustment and photo correction features for enhancing scanned images, and provides an interface for TWAIN-compliant OCR scanning software. In the Image Capture app on your Mac, select your scanner in the Devices or Shared list. If you don’t see your scanner in the list, see Set up a scanner. Scan your images. Click Continue and follow the onscreen instructions. You might find it easiest to begin installation in the evening so that it can complete overnight, if needed.
If the installer asks for permission to install a helper tool, enter the administrator name and password that you use to log in to your Mac, then click Add Helper.Allow installation to complete

*If you have hardware or software that isn’t compatible with Mojave, you might be able to install an earlier macOS, such as High Sierra, Sierra, or El Capitan.
*macOS Mojave won’t install on top of a later version of macOS, but you can erase your disk first or install on another disk.
*You can use macOS Recovery to reinstall macOS.
